FWM BRAT-MET sp. o.o. located in Zwolen, central Poland, is a production plant specializing in metal machining and processing by cold and hot working.

• We specialize in the production of metal parts to Customer’s documentation and fasteners according to international standards, incl. PN / ISO / DIN / BS.

• We use certified metallurgical materials, forgings and castings

Production is carried out on approx. 250 machines, in the following production departments:

Machining Department

• Turning

- 20 universal lathes

- 30 CNC lathes, incl. with holders, feeders, with a single-arm robot, etc.

• Milling

- 20 vertical milling machines

- 10 CNC milling machines, incl. 4 axis

• Drilling

- 30 upright drilling machines

• Grinding

- 22 grinders (various types)

• Rolling

- 10 thread-rolling mills (M4-M64)

• Other processes

- 100+ machines and devices

Heat Treatment & Finishing Department

• Hardening, normalizing, carburizing and nitrocarburizing

- 3 IPSEN quenching furnaces, size 4, with controlled atmosphere

- 4 induction hardening stations (400kHz)

- 4 tempering furnaces

• Forging

- 3 presses, max. load 150 ton (1500 kN),incl. TR method, DxL = 36x2000 mm

- 2 centrifugal presses max. load 150 ton (1500 kN)

• Welding:

- 3 stations MAG (MIG on request)

• Other processes

- E.g. surface coating: wide range (external service)

Quality Control Department

• 1 3D coordinate measuring machine

• 1 tensile testing machine (up to 200kN)

• 6 hardness testers (various types)

• Other instruments and devices necessary in the Quality Control of the metal industry

• On request, QC certificates, approvals 2.2 and 3.1 (ref. EN 10204:2006).

Assembly Department and Warehouse

• Components assembly

- pre-assembly and complete assemblies

• Packaging

- standard / to Customer’s specification

• Warehouse and shipping

- over 1,000m2 warehouse area and 700 pallet compartments

- about 2,000-3,000 items available permanently, at hand
